What you get

Your results here, the full report by email

Google's PageSpeed Insights tests your page as a phone and as a desktop while our own check reads it. Google scores four categories from 0 to 100 (90 and above is good, 50 to 89 needs work, below 50 is poor) and shows Agentic Browsing as checks passed.

Speed

Server response time, page size, text compression and redirects.

Security

HTTPS, the http:// redirect and the security headers browsers look for.

SEO basics

Title, description, headings, indexing, mobile setup, sharing tags, structured data, robots.txt, sitemap and image alt text.

Google PageSpeed

Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO and Agentic Browsing, as Google scores them on mobile and desktop.

Questions

SEO report questions

What people ask before they run it. Tap a question to open it.

Is the SEO report really free?

Yes. Enter your website to see your results on the page, with no sign-up. If you want the full report, add your name and email and we'll send it. There's nothing to buy and no sales call unless you ask for one.

What does the check look at?

Our own check reads three things straight from your page: speed (server response time, page size, compression where we can detect it, and redirects), security (HTTPS, the http:// redirect and the main security headers) and SEO basics (title, description, headings, indexing, mobile setup, sharing tags, structured data, robots.txt, sitemap and image alt text).

Is this the same as Google PageSpeed Insights?

The scores are Google's. We ask Google's PageSpeed Insights to test the page twice, once as a phone and once as a desktop, and show its five categories: Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO and Agentic Browsing. Each run is a fresh test, so expect a few points' difference from one run to the next, including against a test you run on Google's own site. Results usually appear in 20 to 60 seconds, and you can cancel while it runs. Google's test has a daily limit and is sometimes busy. If it doesn't run for a device, that tab says so, and the full report runs Google's test again.

What's in the full report?

Every speed, security and SEO check from our own test, Google's scores and speed measurements for mobile and desktop, and what to fix first. We send it to you by email.

Does it check my whole site?

No. It tests the one page you enter, plus your robots.txt and sitemap. Start with your homepage, then test your most important pages, such as a main service page.

Why do my results change each time I test?

Response time is measured live, once, from our server, and Google's speed test simulates a phone on a slower connection (and a desktop on a fast one), so the numbers move a little between runs. Mobile scores are usually lower than desktop. Look at the overall picture, not a single number.

Will a good result get me to the top of Google?

No tool can promise that. These checks cover technical basics that can hold a page back. Rankings also depend on your content, your Google Business Profile, reviews, links from other sites and how well the page answers what people search for.

Can you fix the issues it finds?

Yes. Every website we build is made to pass these checks, and our hosting and management plan from $49/month keeps it that way. If you'd rather keep your current site, send us the report and we'll tell you what it would take.
